WHAT IS IN-HOME CARE?

In Home Care is the organised home care provided by caregivers to an adult during the day.

In Home Care is the first of the main services that we offer at Plan Life Care. It is the most flexible of our care services because there is no set number of hours or days per week that you require. In Home Care could simply be helping the client get out of bed in the morning for 1 hour a day, or it could be assisting them with several tasks that need support during the day.

In-Home Care Services:

Some Clients only require the minimum level of home care support.  Some of those tasks may include:

  • Companionship

  • Light housework (hoovering, dusting and tidying)

  • Washing & ironing

  • Cooking & helping with meals

  • Support following discharge from hospital

  • Collecting your prescriptions

The carer would simply provide support and assistance for the number of hours or tasks that are needed or required.  There is no obligation to say for the full day if it is not necessary.

Advanced In-Home Care
