WHAT IS 24 HOUR CARE?

If around-the-clock care is needed, 24 hour home care and live-in care ensure a caregiver will be there throughout the day and night.

Both services are great alternatives to assisted living as they allow clients to receive 24 7 care while allowing them to stay in the comfort of their home. Call us to discuss which options will be best suited to your needs of those of your loved ones.

Although live-in care and 24 hour home care may differ slightly by location.  Call us in advance to find out which care service suits your needs.

Care In Shift Services: With shifted caregiving, several caregivers assist your loved one in increments during each day and throughout the night.

Live-In Services: These caregivers will sleep in the home and awaken at night to assist your loved one. You will need to provide private sleeping quarters and their meals.

24 Hour Care vs Live In Care

Live-in care services are usually provided by one person who lives in the house, taking care of the necessary duties for an elderly person. Seniors often need help with most of their daily tasks. It then becomes practical to have one person there all the time.

Sometimes the live-in caregiver needs time off.  This can be scheduled between duties. At other times, another person needs to come in temporarily to offer respite care. 24-hour care services cover all of the same services as live-in care, but it involves several different caregivers. Normally someone to care in the day and someone else in the night.
