WHAT IS RESPITE CARE?

Respite care is the planned or emergency temporary care provided to caregivers of a child or adult.

It doesn’t matter how committed you are to your loved one’s needs; You have to make time for yourself. Doing so is important. This is where our service comes in, and we’re happy to help. We can cover a holiday, a short break or come in urgently because of sickness. We’re here when you need us to offer one-to-one care from trained, qualified professionals, whatever the reason.

Families find joy and comfort in providing care to loved ones so that they can stay at home, the physical, emotional and financial consequences for the family caregiver are often overwhelming without some support, in this case, respite.

Respite Live-in care provides a break for the family caregiver, which may prove beneficial to the health of the caregiver.

  • We are providing appropriate care and supervision for the client in absence of a family member

  • We provide relief for the family from the demanding responsibility of providing care
  • We attend to basic self-help needs and activities that would normally be carried out by a family member
